Mortakill is a natural, organic acid-based hoof treatment used to manage digital dermatitis (Mortellaro disease) in cattle and other livestock. Made from plant-derived organic acids, Mortakill is designed for direct application only — offering a safe, effective alternative to chemical or antibiotic-based treatments. Digital dermatitis (DD), also known by many other names including papillomatous digital dermatitis, hairy heel warts, strawberry warts, strawberry foot, raspberry heel, footwarts, digital warts, verrucous dermatitis, or Mortellaro's disease, is a multifactorial disease involving infectious agents, immune responses, and environmental factors.

The greatest advantage of the Walkease is its speed and ease of application. Walkease blocks can be used either way up so suit both left and right claws. The block should stay on from 7-14 days which is generally long enough for the treated claw to have made a recovery in cases where the trauma was quite mild.

The blocks should stay on from 7-14 days, which is generally long enough for the treated claw to have made a recovery in cases where the trauma was quite mild. After this period the block will have worn away on it’s own and so there is no need for handling the animal again to remove the block.
