BREEDING UNDER CONTROL

The needs cows on B-carotene depends on productivity and is 80-100 mg, and even more. Deficiencies of B-carotene is most common in winter and early spring, compounded by an excess of potassium nitrates or mycotoxins in feed. Even a minor deficiency B-carotene lead to disturbances in reproduction of cows and calves births weak and susceptible to diarrhea. For this reason, it is recommended additional supplementation of B-carotene and microelements in the form of a bolus B-carotene.

Deficiency of B-carotene and vit. A may cause:

  • delayed ovulation,
  • hypoplasia of the corpus luteum,
  • irregular cycles sex,
  • silent estrus,
  • lack of estrus,
  • reduced number of fertilization
  • extended period between calving.

INDICATIONS:

In order to complete the necessary micro-elements and vitamins in high yielding cows, especially with the problems in reproduction.

USAGE: Dairy cows – give 1 bolus by using an applicator into the mouth approx. 30 days after the birth. Application may be repeated after 30 days.
